"Silica G" is a standard grade, unmodified Silica 60 with a surface area of 500 m2/g, mean pore size of 60A, specific pore volume of 0.75 ml/g, and particle size of 5-17um. The TLC plates contain UV254 fluorescent indicator. This analytical soft layer is bound to an aluminum support. It has a thickness of 200um and dimensions of 20x20cm. There are 25 plates per pack.

This high performance thin layer chromatography (HPTLC) plate comprises a C18 Silica layer. The Nano-Silica 60 has a surface area of 500 m2/g, mean pore size of 60A, specific pore volume of 0.75 ml/g, particle size of 2-10um, and pH stability of 2-10. The TLC plates contain UV254 fluorescent indicator. The surface has been 50% treated with an octadecyl silane so that it is a reversed phase material. This analytical hard layer is bound to a glass support. It has a thickness of 200um and dimensions of 10x10cm. There are 25 plates per pack. Applications include: Alkaloids, amino acids, preservatives, optical brighteners, barbiturates, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAH), drugs, peptides, flavonoids, phenols, indole derivatives, steroids

Cellulose 400 (microcrystalline cellulose AVICEL) with UV254, glass backed TLC plates. The coating thickness is 100um and dimensions are 20x20cm. There are 25 plates per pack. Applications include: carboxylic acids, lower alcohols, urea and purine derivatives. Cellulose 400 TLC Plates are coated with microcrystalline cellulose AVICEL. This type of cellulose is prepared by hydrolysis of high purity cellulose with hydrochloric acid. Depending on the starting cellulose and the following clean-up, one obtains cellulose crystallites with a mean degree of polymerization between 40 and 200. The microcrystalline structure of this cellulose can be confirmed by X-ray investigations.
